Kiefer Sutherland to hunt Boyd Holbrook in latest The Fugitive remake

The classic cat-and-mouse-and-one-armed mouse of The Fugitive is headed back to the small screen—now on its smallest screen ever!

Kiefer Sutherland and Logan’s Boyd Holbrook are reportedly set to star in a new remake of the 1960s series—already memorably remade with a 1993 film and not at all memorably remade with a one season CBS show.

Chasing Sutherland’s 24 and Designated Survivor path of terrorism fear-mongering, the updated take will see Holbrook as a man wrongly implicating in bombing a Los Angeles subway train. Sutherland plays the “legendary detective” heading up the manhunt for him.

Another dumb consequence of modernization is that “smallest screen ever” bit. The series is headed to Quibi, another upcoming streaming service, this one focused on breaking up episodes into eight to ten minute segments for lazily watching on your phone.
