Thoroughbreds is the final film we get to see the late Anton Yelchin in, but lucky for all of us, it’s supposedly a good one. Well received at Sundance, the film sees Olivia Cooke and Anya Taylor-Joy as childhood friends who reunite and get into some darkly comic, unpredictably wild situations with Yelchin’s hustler. Cory Finley wrote and directed the film, and it looks like quite a stylish, assured debut. We’ll have to wait until the film’s release next March to find out why it doesn’t star all horses.
