In case you’ve lost track of Disney’s multitude of bought-up intellectual properties being developed: Marvel is making a Wonder Man series! And now we know who will star in it.
Deadline brings word that Wonder Man’s titular role, aka Simon Williams, will be played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, continuing the Aquaman and Watchmen actor’s run of picking up those superhero paychecks.
Wonder Man has a long, varied history in comic books, at various points being a villain in league with Zemo, an Avenger, an industrialist, and an actor. As for how he’ll appear in the Disney+ series? Like every other Disney+ hero: broadly palatable and nearly impossible to discern in any night shots.
