Michael B. Jordan burns it all, again, in HBO’s Fahrenheit 451 trailer

Continuing Michael B. Jordan’s career of happily burning everything he can, the Black Panther villain will next be seen in HBO’s new adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s unfortunately still relevant novel Fahrenheit 451. Jordan stars as Guy Montag (the role Oskar Werner played in François Truffaut’s 1966 classic), a so-called “fireman” burning books wholesale in a dystopian future that cares only about mass media. Michael Shannon and Sofia Boutella co-star, with Shannon’s 99 Homes director Ramin Bahrani handling writing and directing duties. Here’s the first trailer—which reveals that, in updating the story for modern times, now the firemen are also somehow burning “the internet of old.” Save your furry porn while it lasts, everyone.
