According to Variety, the Fast4stic star has signed on to co-star with Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel that focuses on the military’s shift from manned aircrafts to drones. Oblivion‘s Joseph Kosinski is directing the film, which is already set for release this time next year. Then Cruise can finally move on to a Days of Thunder sequel about RC cars.
