Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is set to yet again face some colossal, looming monstrosities. She’s reportedly set to lead The Electric State, an adaptation of Simon Stålenhag’s narrative art book about a dystopian 1997 littered with the ruins of gigantic battle drones and other haunting, discarded tech. Joe and Anthony Russo are set to direct from a script by their four-time Marvel writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
The story sees a girl and a little yellow robot on a cross-country search for her missing brother. There is also a parallel story about how it turns out mysterious Saudi investors are paying for this. Whoops!
