New Hollywood icon Peter Bogdanovich dies at 82

Peter Bogdanovich—director of such timeless classics as The Last Picture Show, Paper Moon, What’s Up, Doc?, and Mask—has died. Also a writer, actor, and figure of the ’70s “New Hollywood” movement, Bogdanovich was 82. He is survived by his two children, his big ol’ water bottle from Sopranos, and a hell of a lot of ascots.
