When the Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny trailer was released last month, it provoked two very different sentiments.
The first, of course, was the joy of finally seeing Indy go after our favorite artifact, the Dial of Destiny. We all know and love that one!
The second: WHERE WAS MUTT?
Absent from the trailer was our other most cherished relic of the past, Shia LaBeouf’s Mutt from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; his little The Wild One costume nowhere to be seen. What happened to Mutt!?
Well, it seems we’ll soon find out.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, your key source for movie news in 2003, Dial of Destiny director James Mangold assured that we’ll “find out what happened” to the beloved character that accompanied Indiana Jones for reasons we may or may not recall.
So worry not, Mutt Pound, come next summer, we’ll finally find out whether “what happened” is just that Michael Cera stole Mutt’s Brando cosplay.
