Taking advantage of human nature’s inherent interest in seeing Nicolas Cage go after a pig, someone is actually making a movie about that.
Cage is reportedly set to star in the bluntly titled Pig, a film in which he’ll play a truffle hunter whose truffle-sniffing pig is pig-napped, sending him from the Oregon wilderness into Portland, where abducted pigs are taken to get liberal.
In a statement, writer-director Michael Sarnoski said, “What began as a very personal project has transformed into a labor of love for so many talented people. I’m thrilled for us all to be bringing this strange world to life.”
So how weird is it that someone’s personal project involves Nicolas Cage trying to round up his pig?
