The Lobster-ers Rachel Weisz and Colin Farrell are reuniting for another dark comedy that’s sure to get weird.
The two have reportedly signed on to star in Love Child, Todd Solondz’s latest bit of sexual depravity. This time, the writer-director is touching on incest with what’s being called a “dark and hilarious twist” on the story of Oedipus. The film sees a precocious boy scheming to off his brutish dad and have his mom to himself—only for his plan to “go awry when a handsome stranger appears.”
Solondz joked that it’s his first movie with a plot, calling it “fun” and “sexy.” So yeah, the kid probably ends up actually fucking his mom.
