Looks like Steve Rogers’ emotional departure from the Marvel Cinematic Universe wasn’t that.
According to Deadline, Chris Evans is close to a deal that would see him return to the MCU for one or two more films. It’s said the appearances would likely be some level of supporting parts similar to what Robert Downey Jr. did in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Captain America: Civil War.
So it will be cool in the next Avengers when the bad guy says “I have an army” or whatever, and they can be like, “We have a digitally-aged contented old guy.”
