Surprisingly cheap to make, riding a dying trend from a few years ago, and being finished purely out of a misguided sense of obligation, Maze Runner is the kale Caesar of film franchises. Yet, while The Divergent Series is being wrapped up as a re-cast TV movie and The Mortal Instruments seems to have been placed on hold indefinitely, Maze Runner indeed is being finished on the big screen. “The Death Cure” will officially stop being a cool band name when the last Maze Runner hits theaters January 26.
