After appearing in The Dark Knight, Ant-Man, and The Flash, David Dastmalchian is ready to go all in on his usual mix of colorful and obscure comic book crap.
According to THR, Dastmalchian is set to join the cast of The Suicide Squad as Polka-Dot Man, a villain who’s manipulated his garish blotches into “amazing gimmicks, such as spots that transformed into buzzsaws and flying saucers on command.”
While it’s already been confirmed that Margot Robbie will return as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney will return as Captain Boomerang, and Idris Elba will play some role that’s not Deadshot, it seems Boomerang will not be the main challenger against Polka-Dot for the title of Lamest. It’s said, “new characters include DC villains such as Ratcatcher (she controls rats), Peacemaker (he loves peace so much he will kill for it), [and] King Shark (would you believe us if we told you it’s a humanoid shark?).”
