Remember back in August, when it seemed Spider-Man had been stripped from the MCU and placed back into the fool hands of Sony? By September, the crisis had been averted of course, but now we know how: Tom Holland and alcohol—the causes of and solutions to all of Marvel’s problems.
Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, Holland explained that a post Sony break-up email exchange with Disney head Bob Iger led to the two speaking on the phone after the Spider-Man actor was a few pints deep. The two got to talking about how Spidey could still work as a shared commodity between the studios, and the rest, as they say, is history that shall only be shared by absolute nerds and is inconsequential to anything.
