Looks like Wile E. Coyote will be the tech-based Iron Man surrogate who guides us into an inevitable Cinematic Looney Tuniverse. As reported by Deadline, Warner Bros. has started development on a Wile E. Coyote animated film titled Coyote vs Acme. Lego Batman director Chris McKay is signed on to produce, and Jon and Josh Silberman (Living Biblically, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) are writing the script. Given that the original cartoons saw a miserable character futilely chasing something they’ll never attain, all the while ordering a bunch of useless shit from a massive corporation with ridiculously fast delivery, it shouldn’t be too hard to adapt to modern times.
