Here’s The Craft‘s new coven

Hollywood is ready to give the goth kids their Varsity Blues again with a remake of The Craft, and now we know who’s going to star in this thing.

According to Deadline, the previously cast Cailee Spaeny (Bad Times at the El Royale) is now set to be joined by Gideon Adlon (Blockers), Lovie Simone (Selah and the Spades), and Zoey Luna (Pose). Band Aid writer-director Zoe Lister-Jones is the one ready to face the wrathful curses of the original’s devoted cult.

Like the 1996 version, which starred Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, Christine Taylor, and Rachel True, the film will focus on a new girl at school (Spaeny’s Hannah) who falls in with the Wiccan clique. Friendship and terrifying black arts ensue.

Production is expected to begin in July, with absurd conservative Christian protest to follow. (And Luna is a trans activist, so good luck to her.)
