With a new generation now bearing the immense cultural weight of being Sheldon, Jim Parsons is ready to say a solemn “bye-zinga.” According to Entertainment Weekly, Parsons has turned down a two-year extension on his near-million-dollar-an-episode contract on The Big Bang Theory; rather than try to imagine the series going on without him, his phantom bazingas forever felt silently echoing behind the prominent laugh track, CBS and Warner Bros.
