According to Deadline, Chris Messina is joining the exceedingly good-looking likes of Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, and Ewan McGregor in Warner Bros.’ comic book movie spin-off. The Mindy Project and Sharp Objects actor will reportedly play Victor Zsasz, a serial killer who carves a tally mark into his own skin for each of his victims. With McGregor already playing the villainous Black Mask, Gotham City is about to get real emo.
