Must we provide an after-the-fact explanation for already-accepted lore with yet another prequel? Apparently so, because here’s the trailer for The King’s Man, the latest entry in Matthew Vaughn’s increasingly thankless Kingsman franchise. Ralph Fiennes, Harris Dickerson, Gemma Arterton, Matthew Goode, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Djimon Hounsou, Daniel Brühl, Charles Dance, Tom Hollander, and Stanley Tucci are among the cast this time. And apparently they’re killing Rasputin (a perfectly cast Rhys Ifans)?
We’ll see how that goes when The King’s Man hits theaters next Valentine’s Day.
