Live out your dream of small town collective equine ownership with the Dream Horse trailer

Gross at multiple levels, Dream Horse is the pseudo-inspirational film that asks, “What if, instead of hopelessly blowing your money on lottery tickets, the poor instead took a different, equally unlikely gamble that also exploits animals?”

The film sees Toni Collette do her best with a Welsh accent to play Janet Vokes, the real-life woman who brought her small town together in the weirdest way possible, organizing some locals into jointly fund the breeding of a racehorse. The results of their pooled funds is Dream Alliance, which sounds like a pretty awesome New Wave band but is actually just a fucking horse. Though it apparently does run quickly.

Those who wish to see this fast horse story may do so May 1.
