
There’s still no word on just how the Black Panther franchise following Chadwick Boseman’s horribly untimely death, but that’s not stopping Marvel from chugging along with their sequel.
According to THR, the studio must have something in mind, because they’re going to start shooting Black Panther 2 in July. Further evidence that they’ve got some form of plan: they’ve already starting casting new roles. It’s said that Tenoch Huerta, one of the stars of Narcos: Mexico, has signed on to play an antagonist of whoever is going to be Black Panther now.
Unfortunately, with the production expected to stretch into 2022, it may be some time before we enjoy the thrill of seeing whatever villain this is square off against someone yet to be determined.
