With his vile Gong Show reboot behind him—or at least we can fucking pray—Mike Myers has begun swathing another ostensibly funny series in latex prosthetics.
According to Variety, the Love Guru himself has made a deal with Netflix (CCO Ted Sarandos pictured above, loving the shit out of Myers’ hilarious deadpan) for a new half-hour, six-episode program. Myers will, naturally, be shouting accents from beneath rubber throughout, the series reportedly giving him “a fantastic playground” for “portraying multiple characters.”
It would seem the Austin Powers star is grabbing at something like The Peter Serafinowicz Show—belated and belabored British sensibilities and all. Shame that, with his fat-suit-encased sausage fingers, he’s almost certainly not going to capture it.
