After decades of superhero movies dominating the screen, at last Hollywood is giving us the most colorful mush meant for kids yet.
According to Deadline, eOne and Hasbro are teaming up for an animated movie based on Play-Doh. Because the one thing missing from existing claymation was branding and an identifiable scent, right?
Jon M. Chu, already acquainted the with Hasbro multinational conglomerate through Jem and the Holograms, is attached to produce and will likely direct. Academy Award-nominated The Big Sick co-writer Emily V. Gordon is signed on to write a script about wads of colorful gunk.
The film now tops actual Play-Doh in the most difficult it’s been to try and swallow Play-Doh.
