Ryan Gosling—the first man your partner would leave you for, regardless their gender or sexual orientation—is now the first man on the moon. Have a look with the new trailer for First Man, the new team-up between the actor and his La La Land writer-director, Damien Chazelle. Gosling of course plays Neil Armstrong, with The Crown star and new Lisbeth Salander Claire Foy stealing the show as the Armstrong wife rightfully upset that her husband is going off for days on end with his buddies Mike (Lukas Haas) and “Buzz” (Corey Stoll).
First Man hits theaters October 12, after which we can hopefully forget that completely mediocre Apollo 11 landing in HBO’s From Earth to the Moon.
