Star Trek 4 has a director, and it isn’t Quentin Tarantino

Thought Tarantino has long been talking about doing a Star Trek movie, it seems he won’t be the next director bringing elaborate, procedural space drama to screens.

Deadline is reporting that Fargo and Legion creator and forgotten Bud Cort character Noah Hawley is in final negotiations to direct a follow-up to 2016’s Star Trek Beyond. The crew of Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, and Karl Urban are expected to return for this fourth chapter. And riding on the high of The Mandalorian, we can only hope Spock is finally forced to care for a Baby Worf.
