Coming off his Oscar and Golden Globe nominations last year for Call Me by Your Name, Timothée Chalamet is looking set to get his dick wet on that awards peach again with Beautiful Boy. Based on the memoirs of real-life father-and-son David and Nic Sheff, the film sees Steve Carell in full-on drama mode to join Chalamet and take on those respective roles. Young Nic is struggling with drug addiction, while his dad is struggling nearly as much from the worry and guilt over the situation. Maura Tierney and Carell’s old Office-mate Amy Ryan co-star. This emotional assault hits theaters October 12.
