The Mandalorian going beneath the helmet with Disney+ docuseries

Ready to find out how Pedro Pascal shot the entirety of a top-billed role in a few hours? Well, here you go, because Disney+ is giving us a Mandalorian docuseries.

The streaming service today announced that on May 4—the criminally recognized “Star Wars Day”—they’ll debut Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, an eight-part behind-the-scenes look at the only post-OT Star Wars entry everyone can agree was pretty solid.

Per the press release, “Topics this season include the filmmaking process, the legacy of George Lucas’s Star Wars, how the cast brought the characters to life, the series’ groundbreaking technology, the artistry behind the show’s practical models, effects, and creatures, plus the creative influences, the iconic score, and connections to Star Wars characters and props from across the galaxy.”

At last, The Mandalorian will join the rest of the franchise in dorks knowing entirely too much about its off-screen minutiae.
