Well, Michael Bay may finally be done staring into the whirring CGI blender that is the Transformers film franchise, but the rest of mankind isn’t even close.
Variety reports that, with a sequel to the surprisingly-decent Bumblebee already in development, Paramount now has two more Transformers screenplays being written. Awake and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword writer Joby Harold is handling one, with James Vanderbilt (Amazing Spider-Man, White House Down, and Independence Day: Resurrenge, even if he’d prefer you remember outlier Zodiac) doing another. Details of the scripts aren’t known, but they probably involve robots that turn into cars for absolutely no reason other than to trick people into climbing inside them.
