After 15 years, at last the many loose ends of The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause will be tied up.
Disney+ is reportedly set to finally address our many unanswered questions of how Tim Allen became Santa Claus with a sequel miniseries for The Santa Clause franchise. Allen is already set to star in and executive produce the follow-up, bringing on his Last Man Standing creator to serve as showrunner.
It’s said the film will see Allen Claus, who’s been Santa since 1994, ready to retire and on the hunt for someone to replace him. Perhaps now Lightyear star Chris Evans could become the Toolman that the Santa was based on?
