Game of Thrones creators and unfortunate Game of Thrones enders David Benioff and D. B. Weiss have yet another unearned development for us: a development deal at Netflix.
Though the pair already have a Star Wars project going with Disney+ and a troubling slavery series in the works at HBO, they’ve just rushed out this new plot point, disregarding how it even fits in with their already established timeline and obvious prior expectations. And, coming at a time when Netflix has cancelled eight series created by women this year, it will give these two dopes a reported $200 million for their multiyear film and television overall deal.
Talk about failing up. Especially after their water park debacle.
