The latest rom-com to let Diane Keaton just bring her own wardrobe from home, Love, Weddings & Other Disasters is this year’s requisite tepid comedy across several big-city romances. Diane Keaton and Jeremy Irons bring the respectability to a cast that also includes the kidnapped girl from Taken and the biggest star of the now-defunct Vine. Recidivist Happy Madison director Dennis Dugan is responsible as auteur.
Love, Weddings & Other Disasters is meant to lure in that narrow crossover audience of people who remember and liked both The Big Wedding and Vine when it arrives December 4.
