The 71st Annual Emmy Awards nominations were revealed today, and as usual they’re a muddled mix of deserving recognition and completely baffling inclusions. Series like Fleabag, Barry, and Killing Eve got their due lauding. But then so did Robert De Niro’s notoriously wretched SNL teleprompter reading and the standout poor writing on the Game of Thrones finale, so that’s as outrageous as the fact that The Kominsky Method continues to be an awards contender despite no one in history watching it.
Unsurprising, though, because Game of Thrones completely dominates this, your list of (most of) the 2019 Emmy nominees:
