Scarcely seen on the screen since 1997’s straight-to-video Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, Rick Moranis is set to finally return to acting with… ugh, another Honey, I Shrunk the Kids sequel?
According to THR, Moranis will take his first live-action role in over two decades to needlessly reprise Wayne Szalinski for a fourth time in Disney’s sequel-cum-reboot (see: Jurassic World et al.) of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.
Original director Joe Johnston is already set to likewise return to the franchise, and Josh Gad is attached to play Szalinski’s now-adult son, Nick. And, honestly, Gad has a pretty good idea for who he should be shrinking this time:
