Based on the Jeff Lemire’s comic of the same name that one TV-VCR writer found “insufferable after only a few issues,” Netflix’s Sweet Tooth takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where some people are being born with animal features. Truly there is no dystopia worse than one where the furry dream is thriving.
The story focuses on Gus, a deer-boy that will come to be known as the titular character. James Brolin tells us as much in this first-look teaser, which comes courtesy of executive producers Susan Downey and Robert Downey Jr. They are really stuck in Dolittle gear, huh?
The first eight episodes of Sweet Tooth hit Netflix June 4.
