As if we’re in any short supply of recent The Most Dangerous Game riffs (sorry The Hunt was delayed, but there’s already Ready or Not), Quibi has decided to take the man-hunting short story at its most literal with a thriller simply titled Most Dangerous Game.
Liam Hemsworth stars as a guy who apparently has a brain tumor and, here playing an American, also doesn’t have decent health insurance. He approaches some rich CEO-type (Christoph Waltz, who’s really too good for this) for the money. Waltz is like, “Hey, what if some of my chums hunted you for money for 24 hours?” And Hemsworth is like, “Well, I’m no Chris Hemsworth, so sure.”
Like The Fugitive series remake, Most Dangerous Game is headed to our soon-to-be destination for eight-to-ten-minute episodes about man hunting man, Quibi. At least they found their niche, though, huh?
